HISTORIC MAIN STREET LOCATION -
In 2003 the law firm purchased and remodeled an historic turn of the century Queen Anne style Victorian home located on Main Street in Boise, Idaho. The firm is located near the Idaho State Capitol, the Idaho Supreme Court, and adjacent to the new Ada County Courthouse.
MATTHEW G. GUNN graduated cum laude from the University of Arkansas
in 2005 with a Bachelor of Arts degree. While a student-athlete on the
University of Arkansas cross-country and track and field teams, Mr.
Gunn was a member of five NCAA Division I national championship teams.
In 2005, Mr. Gunn was awarded the Walter Byers Scholarship as the top
male student-athlete in the NCAA. In 2008, Mr. Gunn received his Juris
Doctorate from Columbia Law School. After law school, Mr. Gunn served
as a law clerk for United States District Court Judge Justin L.
Quackenbush and Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals Judge Stephen S. Trott.
After practicing at a large Idaho law firm, Mr. Gunn joined Brassey,
Crawford & Howell in 2012, where his practice includes insurance
defense, medical malpractice defense, commercial litigation, and
employment law. Mr. Gunn is a member of the Idaho State Bar and is
admitted to practice in both state and federal courts in Idaho. Mr. Gunn
is also a member of the New York State Bar and the Washington State Bar.
An Idaho native, Mr. Gunn enjoys skiing, camping, and fly-fishing.
Mr. Gunn also volunteers as a youth ice hockey head coach and plays ice
hockey recreationally.
